What if I Want to Join this Church
WHAT IF I WANT TO JOIN THIS CHURCH?
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitors and “friends” of the congregation are always welcome to share with us on a regular basis. We would be very pleased, however, to have you make yourself “at home” with us by joining our congregation in one of three ways:- By way of an official transfer from another Lutheran Church.
- By attending our basic new member “orientation” course (offered quarterly).
- By making a profession of faith.
For our members, the HOLY TRINITY family is asked and encouraged to make four basic connections:
1) An established (and on-going) pattern of connecting to God in Word & Worship.
2) Connecting to each other by way of participating in some ministry that builds community among God’s people.
3) Connecting to some ministry that serves to bless others outside of our community of faith.
4) As per the gifts & talents God has given us individually, a willingness to connect in some way to serving the Lord at HTLC.
